I thought this was a beautiful photograph of some storm clouds that threatened us during the Yee Peng Festival. Fortunately, just a few drops fell and the sky cleared.

Quetzals are skittish birds, so it was difficult to get this picture. I had to stay far away from them so they didn’t run. They are very pretty and colorful, so even though the photo is bad you can tell how beautiful they are.

I know, there is nothing special about this picture, but I loved Lisbon so I wanted to post a photo. The yellow trams are famous and very fun to ride around in. They come so close to building and cars that they are only inches away.

The tigers at Tiger Kingdom are happy to lounge around rest while people are wandering around their cages. They get up periodically and walk around, but since tigers sleep upwards of 18 hours a day, they are perfectly happy to kick back and relax.

Incense is used quite a bit in Buddhist temples and I thought this pot was beautiful. Every pot had something unique about it, but they were all being used.

Hallgrímskirkja is a Lutheran church in Reykjavík, Iceland that dominates the city’s skyline. Interestingly, the church is named after a poet and clergyman in Iceland. The statue in front is of Leif Eriksson, though it predates the church’s construction.
